An impressive and imposing Grade II listed building that dominates the centre of St Helens Church Square. The building dates from 1926, when it was completed and consecrated. Designed by famous architect WD Caroe, a major figure in the Arts & Crafts Movement, the building replaced one which was destroyed in a fire in 1916.
The Rotary Club of St Helens has created a Heritage Trail around the town centre, outside the church building you will find some plaques with QR codes on which will lead you to a website where you can read more about the past, present and future of St Helens Parish Church.
