St German's is a masterpiece built by the famous architect GF Bodley.

A Grade I Listed building, it boasts the only flying buttresses on a Church building in South Wales, and has been described as the most important Victorian church in Wales. With links to Keble College, Oxford and Lord Tredegar, St German's began its life as a flagship of the renowned Oxford Movement which gave birth to what is now known as Anglo-Catholicism. The church first opened its doors to this local community in 1884, and still continues to do so each week where Catholic Anglican ritual and preaching can be experiences. Here, at the centre of the community of Adamsdown, a loving, thinking and open Anglo-Catholicism thrives!
