The historic church of Owain Glyndwr and resting place of the celebrated poet Huw Morus, Eos Ceiriog.
Dating from around the 13th century and remodelled and repaired in the late 19th century, St Garmon's is a simple place of peace and quiet at the end of a single track rural lane. There are at least 6 services here throughout the year.
The church stands in an elevated churchyard looking out over the valley, surrounded by snowdrops and primula in the spring.
A lovely place to come and enjoy a few moments of peaceful meditation, prayer and contemplation, to bookend or break a walk, or to simply enjoy the beautiful setting with a packed lunch and a flask of tea! There is a small, sloping, gravel car park next to the church for visitors to use.
