Rivertown United Reformed Church (URC) stands proudly on Chester Road West in Shotton, Flintshire. With over 125 years of worship under its belt, its origins date back to May 1897 when the original Congregational congregation first met in a modest corrugated metal building. By 1899 a larger brick structure was opened, and later extended in 1911, to accommodate a growing congregation.
