A Victorian church, Holy Trinity (consecrated in 1890) was built using mostly local materials. The Rector (Revd Gildea) crafted much of the woodwork in the chancel, including the pulpit. Local farmers carried out all the haulage and it is still very much a 'local' church. The churchyard contains two Commonwealth War Graves.
