Queensferry Parish Church stand in the heart of a former fishing village now a community which serves predominantly as a dormitory town for nearby Edinburgh. South Queensferry is a rapidly expanding town which retains its local community spirit. The church is a major part of that community not only as a centre for Sunday worship but a home for groups throughout the week. Community fridge, community drop in cafe, Boys' Brigade, Girls' Brigade, Guild, and country dancing to name but a few.

Within the sanctuary can be found stained glass windows of many styles and time periods including classic war dead memorials through to a 20th century design celebrating and commemorating a much loved long serving minister. A frequently changing array of locally created banners reflect worship, praise and service. A display of hand made pennants reflects the range and diversity of the church's life.

One of two church's is housing the parish of Dalmeny and Queensferry Queensferry Parish church compliments the 12th century splendour of St Cuthbert's Dalmeny.

St Andrew

Ravelston, City of Edinburgh

St Andrew’s church is rather special, and we in the parish are very proud of it. It is unusual as it is a wooden church, not stone like most in Edinburgh.
