Nestled at the heart of a conservation area, this Grade II Listed church is a place where centuries gently meet. As you walk through the exceptionally steep-pitched roof of the Lychgate, the beautiful Grade II listed church welcomes you. In the quiet embrace of its churchyard stands a magnificent yew tree, its ancient branches sheltering generations past and present - a living witness to nearly a thousand years of prayer, hope, and remembrance. Among the weathered headstones lie the graves of those who served in both World Wars I and II, including a young Polish airman who found his final resting place far from home, yet forever held in the care of this peaceful sanctuary.

Step inside, and the church continues to tell its story through craftsmanship and devotion. The beautifully carved pulpit, completed in 1901, offers more than a place for preaching; it is a work of faith in stone. Here, St David is tenderly portrayed both as a youthful figure and as the wise elder he became, while St. Catwg appears alongside his emblematic mouse and bell - charming details that weave legend and spirituality together in stone and artistry.

Light pours through the stunning three light stained-glass window, erected in 1906 by Mary Jenkins in loving memory of her Morgan ancestors, whose connection to the church in Pentyrch stretches back to at least 1700. The colours shimmer across stone and pew, a radiant reminder of family, continuity, and belonging.

This is more than a historic building; it is a sacred gathering place where stories endure, where beauty uplifts, and where every visitor is warmly welcomed into a living heritage of faith and community.
