Mursley church is a 14th century stone building with a nave, chancel, north and south aisles, tower with six bells and a clock. There are memorials including those of the Fortescue family who lived at Salden. Sir John Fortescue was chancellor to Elizabeth I.

A plain glass east window above the altar was replaced at the 2000 Millenium with a modern stained glass window depicting local scenes. There is an 18th century stained glass window at the west end in the bell tower.

In 2020 a major reordering was undertaken to remove pews at the west end, install a toilet and kitchenette and vestry storage units. This modernisation has enabled many more community activities to take place in the church.
