This is a beautiful church, open for visitors every day. It contains a fabulous marble monument to Sir Stephen Soame and family, Lord Mayor of London 1598, as well as other notable memorials to the Soame and Vestey and Ryder families, local landowners and benefactors. There is also an exceptional maquette of St Edmund by Elizabeth Frink (who was born in the village) in memory of her parents.
