St Paul's in Gilford is a welcoming church situated in the upper part of Gilford opposite the Dunbar McMaster mill which closed many years ago. It is a cross shaped stone building and has the most incredible stained glass windows which are worth a closer look. Behind the church is Dunbarton House which was the home of the mill owners. There is a lot of history in the Gilford area mostly to do with the linen industry.
