Our Grade II listed church was built in 1787 and stands at the heart of the village in the Dobcross Conservation area.

Dewsbury Minster is a grade II listed building and has been a place of worship in the area since 627AD when St Paulinus preached at the crossing point of the River Calder at Dewsbury.

Longcauseway Church is a prominent and well known building situated in the town centre of Dewsbury.

St Mary's has stood here for at least 800 years.

The house has a wonderful atmosphere of calm, the people using it for worship are warm and friendly, and visitors leave feeling an inner peace.

The current church building is circa 145 years old, but there has been a place of worship here since 1206.
