This small but beautiful church is located in the very centre of Sancreed (Cornish: Eglossankres) in the inland parish in the Hundred of Penwith, about four miles west of Penzance and forms part of the gloriously wild and ruggedly beautiful area of West Penwith at the most westerly tip of Cornwall.

Welcome to the ancient parish church of St Just in Penwith, a fine building located at the very heart of the town, the most westerly town on the mainland of Britain, about seven miles west of Penzance.

Built in 1838 of blue granite with a square tower, a welcoming church for all ages.

Built by the 14th Lord Lovat in 1826, altered in 1881 by Peter Paul Pugin and is reputedly the first Roman Catholic Church to have been built in Scotland post Reformation.

Gordon Chapel was built in 1834 to a design by Archibald Simpson, funded by George, 5th Duke of Gordon, and Duchess Elizabeth to serve as a place of worship for the Episcopalians of Fochabers who had been meeting in a thatched cottage for some 50 years.

The church was build in 1818 and has links with St Drostan who landed at Aberdour Beach and brought Christianity to the north east of Scotland.
