St Endellion is one of England’s holy places, an ancient collegiate church with four prebends.

Dedicated to St Martin of Tours, a Roman soldier who cut his cloak in half to give to a beggar, the church is predominantly a medieval building.

This fine example of the work of the distinguished Scottish church architect, Dr Peter MacGregor Chalmers, stands on the town's main street and was opened for worship in 1902.

Dunblane Cathedral, built upon a Christian site first established by Saint Blane around the year 600, is one of the few surviving medieval churches in Scotland.

The cathedral, the facade of which is in the Victorian Gothic design, was built by the architect George Mathewson and opened on 7 August 1836.

Completed in 1855 the Cathedral was designed by George Gilbert Scott in the style of the Middle or Decorated period of Gothic architecture.

Riverside United Church is situated on the Quayside, West Looe, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

St Nicholas is cosy and inviting, and known as the Fisherman's Church, being right next to the river at Looe.

The church is the only Trade Kirk in Scotland, and is still the scene of the colourful Kirkin of the Trades held in November.

This modern, well cared for church of distinctive design commands wonderful views across the Clyde estuary is easily located off the Port Glasgow to Kilmacolm Road.

St Salvador's was an early work by the Gothic Revival architect GF Bodley and its construction, of red sandstone, was finished in 1868.
