The Priory is one of the longest parish churches in the country at 311ft, and has been a place of worship for centuries and offers peace and calm and an opportunity for prayer.

St Peter's was completed in 1879 to a design by GE Street as the founding mother church of Bournemouth.

St Mark's Portadown was consecrated as St Martin's in 1826, and renamed St Mark's in 1872.

The most striking thing about Holy Trinity, England's most northerly parish church, is that because the main body of the church was built in Cromwellian times, it has neither a tower nor a steeple.

The church is at the centre of the village and since modernisation has been used as a community centre.
