St Nicholas is uniquely designed in the shape of an upturned prow of a boat, reflecting Fleetwood's maritime history.

St Mary's is a fragment of a priory of Cistercian nuns built in the late 12th century.

St Wilfrid's church, is a wonderful example of the work of Temple Moore and his son in law, Leslie Moore which stands proud in the centre of town.

Beverley Minster is one of the finest Gothic churches in Europe and is equal to the greatest of our cathedrals.

Dating back to 1868, the Grade II listed church was the first Gothic style non-conformist chapel in York and has been little altered over the centuries.
