A lovely 12th century village church.

Flint walls, a low, steeply pitched roof and a 15th century wooden porch give the outside of St Margaret's a quiet rural charm.

The original St Edmund’s church and school were built to serve the 1,000 or so Roman Catholics living on the Isle of Dogs in about 1870.

More to this church than meets the eye (Pevsner).

Founded in 907, the abbey was at first a nunnery then, from 974, a Benedictine Abbey of nuns.

St Luke’s now has a brand new home: a place of welcome, hospitality and hope for the people of the Isle of Dogs.

Open to all, the cathedral is a place to explore and learn, a modern cathedral with a truly remarkable story.

This ancient village was on the pilgrimage route to Bury St Edmunds and is full of history and legend.

This Victorian church was designed by Alfred Waterhouse (who designed the Natural History Museum) and is an architectural gem, reflecting the Arts & Crafts movement and the Oxford movement, set in a pastoral scene.

The Memorial Baptist Church building was opened in 1922 to house the church and its welfare work.

We warmly welcome visitors at Rye Lane Baptist Chapel; it is a Grade II listed building which boasts historical features in a fine Victorian nonconformist building.

Landscape, art and remembrance are beautifully blended together in the Grade I listed Watts Chapel.
