Tucked away in one of the most remote villages in Suffolk, Shelley church is hard to find but worth finding!

Tabernacle Chapel was built in 1774, and is known as one of the outstanding buildings of the region.

Standing at the heart of the Brockley community, this impressive Victorian church, with it's landmark spire, is the custodian of the New Cross Fire memorial window.

This is the parish church of little Caldey Island, where both islanders and monks are buried, their graves marked by wooden crosses.

All Saints was built in the 15th century on an ancient site, with its tall spire and 16 ornate pinnacles dominates the skyline of the picturesque market town of Castle Cary.

The present St Mary’s was opened in 1895, but a medieval stone and tile in the porch are clues to the parish’s much longer story.

East Knoyle is known for its connection with Sir Christopher Wren, who was born in a cottage in the village in 1632.

It is believed that there has been a church on this site since the 9th century or even earlier, St Mary Magdalene stands at the end of a spur of high ground, which reaches out northwards towards the River Thames.

The parish began in a Regency house, once home to Baron Sir William Congreve, the father of modern rocket technology.

Designed by Arthur Ashpital, work began in 1852 and the church was completed in 1853.
