As one of the only Queen Anne style churches left in Birmingham, the church was founded by Job Marston, a local philanthropist, has a rich and varied history.

Dedicated to St Chad, who died in AD 672, and listed in the Domesday Book, the outline of the present building dates from the 14th century.

The parish church of St Laurence, Alvechurch has memories of 1000 years of Christian presence on this site and serves a modern lively worshiping community.

Be transported back 500 years or so, St Tysilio's is set in a conservation area overlooking the River Dee, at the end of the Pontysyllte Aqueduct world heritage trail.

This peaceful little church was built in 1740 to replace one which was destroyed by the River Wye.
