An ancient church set in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside.

Our church was built in the 1200s and is a friendly local village church close to the Chilterns and the Grand Union Canal.

The story of St Gwynno’s goes back to 8th century.

The parish church of Buckinghamshire's county town, St Mary's is used for all ceremonial county services, dominating the old part of Aylesbury.

The earliest known date for Impington is AD 991, when the manor was given to the Monastery at Ely by Duke Brithnoth. 

The church, designed by Colin Shewring, was built and dedicated in 1965, it is one of the most distinctive buildings on the estate and in Oxford, with its curved walls and roof.

From the churchyard full of orange hawkweed, knapweed and other native wild flowers there are spectacular views of the mountains with the legendary lake Llyn y Fan Fach, where a shepherd boy fell in love with a lady who appeared from the lake.

Amble down the quiet lanes of Galloway, southwest Scotland until you arrive at the historic town of Whithorn where St Ninian first brought Christianity to Scotland.

The church is mainly 13th century and Perpendicular although an earlier tympanum of Samson and the Lion survives.
