St Peter's is a quintessential English village church set in peaceful surroundings which has grown and changed over the many centuries but still remains at the heart of the village.

Abbey Hill is a warm, welcoming and friendly church.

It is believed that the present building has its origins in 12th century but there was probably an earlier Anglo Saxon or even Celtic church, for the boundary of the original churchyard forms an almost perfect circle, a feature shared with many churches of known Celtic origin.

An outstanding Grade I listed Norman church of unusually large proportions.

St Peter's is bounded not only by a peaceful churchyard, but playing fields and the Lido park.

On one side this church sits above the river Salwarpe and on the other above the Droitwich Canal.

This church is famous because it is completely covered in religious scenes created with beautiful venetian glass 'tessarae' mosaics and marble in the style of Ravenna in Italy, it is visited by people from across the world.

Recorded in Doomsday book, St Leonard’s is one of the three oldest churches in Herefordshire.
