St John's is an acknowledged gem which has the appearance and polish of a miniature Cathedral.

St Peters was built at the time the area of Broadwater was developed in the mid 1950s.

On entering the church stand for a moment and take in the excellent proportions of the building with its limestone nave built in 1430 and the chancel and tower of pink sandstone, constructed in 1480.

St Andrew's dates from the time of King Henry II (1154 -89) and it still retains its Norman arcade as well as additions from every subsequent medieval century which give this church a rich and varied history.

A church has stood here since 1115, at the centre of a cluster of buildings, including manor house, guild house and rectory, all still surviving.

St Leonard is a 12th century historic church containing unique carvings.

Inspired by the German churches of the 1930s, Grade I listed St Monica’s church is an impressive brick structure with a green glaze pantile roof.

It is believed that there has been a church on this site since the 9th century or even earlier, St Mary Magdalene stands at the end of a spur of high ground, which reaches out northwards towards the River Thames.

This historic hilltop village in the High Weald lies close to the source of the Rother, the Sussex river from which it takes its name.

The church was rebuilt in Decorated Gothic style by the architect John Wing the younger for Sir John Palmer Bt in 1788.
