A country gem from a gentler era.

Our delightful church is situated in the picturesque village of Bangor on Dee overlooking the river and the 16th century cobbled bridge.

The church has been at the heart of the village of Woodford Halse since the 12th century although the church was substantially rebuilt in the late 19th century.

The church at Penkridge had already been granted collegiate status by Royal Charter in the 10th century, indicating its importance from early times.

Rudgwick church is hidden away behind the Kings Head pub, barely visible from the road, it is a gem of a church commanding wonderful views across to the South Downs.

Dedicated to St Maelog, a Celtic saint who settled in Anglesey about 1450 years ago.
