On the outside, a fine medieval church with a broach spire and on the inside, a complete Victorian Gothic interior by GF Bodley with beautifully decorated ceilings throughout the church.

The church has been at the heart of the village of Woodford Halse since the 12th century although the church was substantially rebuilt in the late 19th century.

Hidden in the hills only four miles north and slightly west of the ancient city of Bath, the village of Woolley dates back to Saxon times and a visit to this most tranquil hamlet is a most uplifting experience.

St Peter’s Wootton Wawen, near Stratford upon Avon, is one of the oldest structures in England’s Midlands. Its tower dates back to the 900s, if not earlier.

Designed by Philip Hardwicke and completed in 1823, the design is based in St Paul's in Covent Garden, with many internal design features referencing our patron St John the Evangelist.

A thousand year old wall carving, a 17th century Fox’s Book of Martyrs hidden within its walls, 14th century Crusader crosses and a 15th century skull from the the War of the Roses.

St Katharine's is a lovely Grade II* listed church building with some historical stained glass windows, a Savage Brass and excavated Stone Crucifix.
