St Andrew's has a rich heritage.

It was originally built in the 13th century, then remodelled in the 15th and again in the 19th by the Marchioness of Lothian, then owner of Blickling Hall. The church contains an extraordinary number of 14th and 15th century brasses commemorating people associated with Blickling, including the family of Anne Boleyn. The south aisle houses the tomb of the de Clere family who lived in Blickling Hall in tudor times (closely related to the Boleyns). The interior was furnished over the years with a 14th century parish chest, an effigy of Isabelle Cheyne (1480), a late medieval font, a pulpit from 1692, an organ by Snetzler of 1762 and two stunning memorials of the Marchioness and Marquis of Lothian who donated the Blickling Estate to the National Trust in 1945.
