The south aisle, from 1538, is a masterpiece with splendid Perpendicular window tracery in the local style.

The upper floor of the unusual two storey porch incorporates an interior balcony from where the lords of the manor could watch the proceedings, theatre style: this was an early 19th century conversion by the Acland family of nearby Holnicote.

Two family members are commemorated by plaques at the west end.
