The grade II* parish church of All Saints has a 13th century west tower and chancel, with a nave and a north aisle dating from the mid 14th century.

It is in a lovely setting with views of the Vale of Belvoir. Knipton village lies adjacent to the grounds of Belvoir Castle, having historically been an estate village with many of the houses owned by The Duke of Rutland. Knipton is in north east Leicestershire, but only a couple of miles from the boundaries of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
