St Winifred, Branscombe

St Michael de Rupe, Brentor

One of the iconic landmarks of West Devon, St Michael de Rupe was founded in 1130 by the local landowner Robert Giffard and is the highest working church in England.

Getting here

Devon is well served by trains from all over the country, and many of the routes are very picturesque.

It's also easy to reach by road. The M5 motorway runs into Exeter, with excellent links with other major motorways including the M4. National Express stops in various places around the county. 

There are flights from many UK airports to Exeter International Airport. There are also flights from some international airports.
