St Cuthbert

Its tall, splendid 15th century west tower is surely the main reason why this outstanding parish church is quite often mistaken for Wells Cathedral.
North Wootton village lies below the Mendip Hills looking across the Somerset levels to Glastonbury Tor. The parish includes the hamlet of Worminster and the scattered homes and farms of Redlake, Launcherley and Upper Westholme. The parish church of St Peter is a small and beautiful medieval building open for all.
It is the home of a welcoming regular congregation and widely used by villagers and others for celebrations and special services as well as weddings, baptisms and funerals.
