Religious worship has been carried out on the site of St Michael’s Without for many centuries, with a previous church being famous for its mystery plays. The church which stands on the site today is built in Early English Gothic style, inspired by the ornamentation and appearance of the Lady Chapel at Salisbury Cathedral.

St Michael’s is now open seven days a week, welcoming visitors, hosting events and always offering hospitality to everyone and anyone.
