St Michael and All Angels

St Michael’s has Anglo Saxon foundations. The present red sandstone building dates from the 13th century, but was largely rebuilt in the 19th century by Abraham Perkins, adding an apsidal chancel, vestry, porch and bell turret. This Maintenance grant will contribute towards the cost of urgent repair & restoration work, including the removal and restoration of all oak floorboards, lifting sunken tiles, relaying tiles & regrouting.
