The church is mostly C15th, though much restored. C13th Early English chancel and Norman south doorway; restored 1873 by Benjamin Ferrey.

The grant will help fund phase one works which relate to the valley gutter between the nave and north aisle, with associated stone works to the parapets, gable and tower abutments to allow for lead flashings, etc. The lead works date from the 1873 restoration by Benjamin Ferrey, and has for some years begun to perish/split in a number of places. The valley gutter has a number of 'welded' repairs, as well as lead sealant and flashband.

  • Partnership Grant, £3,000, 2017

  • Our Partnership Grants funded a range of repair projects, recommended by County Church Trusts, to help keep churches open.
