Some of the church building is Norman but until recently we could only identify the base of the tower and one doorway. During the excavations for replacing the floor we’ve uncovered a font base we believe to be Norman and the outline of the original nave.

When you visit you will be able to look for dragons, find the 15th century effigies supposedly of a knight and his lady and hear about the faith and courage of Revd Hugh Clarke from the time of Queen Elizabeth I.
