The church's architectural features trace the history of the people from 1200, to the present day.

Recent restoration shows Tudor roses in the plaster, ancient texts and fine windows, while the roof, bell tower and stone and wood carvings define the character of the church and gargoyles and listed tombs surround it.

Open all day, the church is the centrepiece of the village also known for its water gardens cafe and art gallery.
