St Dunstan with Holy Cross

St Dunstan's is an important Grade I Listed church in the heart of Canterbury and has close associations with Sir Thomas More whose head is in a vault in the Roper Chapel. It is also the church where Henry II donned his hair shirt and made his way into Canterbury in penance for the murder of Thomas a Becket. For these reasons it is a much visited church and open daily to the public. The grant will help repair a subterranean boiler room that is poorly waterproofed and trips the electricity supply with the ingress of water.
