St Catherine

Church with C14 west tower and chancel. Nave and aisles C15. Restored 1861 and 1891. It stands at the centre of this Broadland village and is loved by its immediate community and is familiar to thousands who visit or attend events. Its rood screen and loft are of national importance. Work required: repairs to all 12 clerestory windows - weakening (and consequent buckling) of leads and failing lead light cement has lead to glass becoming loose and allowing water ingress.
