A number of items from the old church remain within Holy Trinity, from as far back as the 17th century. There are also some good 1960s glass windows by AV Holloway and quite rare work by a Chester lady who trained him, Trena Cox.

The current church building with tower were built on Norris Road at much the same time as the housing on the same part of the Blacon estate, of the same red brick, with roof of Welsh slate. It was consecrated in April 1960. Nearly all the furniture and fittings were provided either at or after that time.

Items from the old Holy Trinity church on Watergate Street, Chester (which was closed in January 1961) kept within the present building include a wrought iron sword holder and two wooden boards listing mayors of Chester who served in the old parish. Also, an oak high altar 1925 which formed part of restoration of the old church and part of war memorial.
