Whitfield, Northumberland
Built in 1859-60 in a free Early English style with good detail and much foliage carving, Holy Trinity has been described as a miniature cathedral. The architect is Higham of Newcastle. The windows are lancet with a Rose Window in the western gable, with examples by Powell, Kempe and Evetts.
