Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strabane

 

The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strabane was completed in 1895. Gothic in style and resembling 13th century French design it is built in the shape of a cross with cathedral dimensions. The iconic church features a stunning trussed roof with decorative arches. The stained glass was designed and manufactured by Mayer of Munich who also designed the distictive celtic knot mosaics. 

The church received a Treasure Ireland Grant to repoint an exterior wall.
