Churches, chapels, and meeting houses in England and Wales can now apply for grants for security equipment.

The Home Office has announced bidding for grants under the 'Places of worship: security funding scheme' to provide protective security measures for places of worship in England and Wales.

The funding would also include the costs of labour for installation. The church would need to contribute 20% of the total costs, and work must be completed by 31st March 2017.
