Safeguarding heritage

Janet Edmond, Project Manager for MaintenanceBooker says: “Tackling essential maintenance tasks sooner rather than later is really important to safeguard historic buildings for the future. It is also cost-effective as neglecting simple maintenance tasks often results in significantly higher repair bills.    MaintenanceBooker provides access to accredited contractors and competitive quotes.  It saves time, saves money and safeguards historic buildings for the future.”

MaintenanceBooker was launched in the spring of 2018 to help keep churches and chapels in good repair by the National Churches Trust  and procurement experts 2buy2.

Value for money

Rob Kissick, 2buy2’s Chief Executive Officer says: “MaintenanceBooker makes it easy for historic building owners and managers to access the highest possible standards of building maintenance services. MaintenanceBooker’s competitive tendering system provides suppliers who possess experience of working with historic buildings, have safe working practices and are adequately insured for the work they're undertaking. This gives historic building owners and managers value for money and the ability to appoint suppliers with confidence and certainty of a job well done.”

Ecclesiastical Insurance

MaintenanceBooker is being supported by Ecclesiastical Insurance, one of UK’s leading insurers.

Michael Angell, church operations director for Ecclesiastical Insurance says: “We are very pleased to be able to sponsor this service, which will help make sure that those maintaining some of our most irreplaceable buildings have the right experience and skills to do so. Without proper maintenance churches may face more serious repair problems and in some cases, this could lead to temporary closures. “

MaintenanceBooker is provided by NCT Heritage Services Ltd and 2buy2. NCT Heritage Services Limited was established in 2018 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Churches Trust.

2Buy2 is national buying group for businesses, charities, schools and churches enabling them to save money, save time and buy with confidence. For more information visit www.2buy2.com
