The National Churches Trust is delighted to announce our latest offer for our Friends and Supporters – Evensong and a private guided tour of Westminster Abbey led by the Very Reverend Dr John Hall, Dean of Westminster, followed by an exclusive reception in its historic Jerusalem Chamber.

The event, on Tuesday 28th April 2015, will start at 5pm with a service of Choral Evensong. Friends of the National Churches Trust will enjoy reserved seating in the Quire Stalls, the finest seats situated right in the heart of Westminster Abbey.

The Very Reverend Dr John Hall, Dean of Westminster, will then lead a private tour of the Abbey, revealing its fascinating history and some of the hidden wonders that are rarely accessible to the public.

The evening will culminate in a private reception in the Jerusalem Chamber, in the company of high profile supporters of the National Churches Trust. Not normally open to the public, the Jerusalem Chamber was part of the medieval house of the Abbots of Westminster, known as Cheyneygates, and the place where King Henry IV died, as narrated by Shakespeare in Henry IV Part II. The evening will end at 8pm.

To secure your place at this unique event in one the world's most famous and significant religious buildings, we would be grateful for a minimum donation of £100 per person.

Tickets are limited to just 50 guests*, so to reserve your place please post your donation to Georgina Rogerson, Events and Communications Officer, at National Churches Trust, 7 Tufton Street, London, SW1P 3QB. Please make the cheque payable to 'National Churches Trust', and include the names and contact details of those who will be attending.
