An exciting opportunity for an experienced senior fundraiser to implement a fundraising strategy for the National Churches Trust.

Are you inspired by church architecture? Are you fascinated by the history of churches and their role in 21st century Britain? Do you have views about the role that church buildings should play in today’s society?

The National Churches Trust supports and promotes church buildings of historic, architectural and community value. Our aims are to help maintain the UK’s heritage of church buildings and to enhance their ability to serve local communities; and to promote the benefit to communities of church buildings and to inspire everyone to value and enjoy them.

We are the only independent, UK-wide charity supporting churches, chapels and meeting houses of all Christian denominations. We do this principally through the provision of grants for repairs and modernisation, but also with support, advice, information and campaigning to highlight the value of these buildings.

Senior management

We are seeking an  experienced senior fundraiser to help build on the success of our recent 60th anniversary celebrations and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the Trust. The successful candidate will have the necessary personal skills to develop robust relationships, excellent organisational skills to establish and maintain fundraising procedures and protocols, working knowledge of the Raiser’s Edge database, be an effective planner, able to manage large budgets and play a key role as part of the senior management of the organisation.

If you are interested in finding out more and would like an information pack, please call our Chief Executive, Claire Walker on 020 7222 0605 or get in touch via email -  the deadline for applications is 27 March 2015.
