Fundraise for us
You can fundraise for the National Churches Trust
For more than 60 years we have been helping churches, chapels and meeting houses to stay open.
We fund urgent repairs and modernisation, provide expert advice on church maintenance, support churches in serving their local communities and promote church heritage and tourism.
Our work is made possible by the generosity of our Friends and supporters. We receive no direct funding from government or church authorities.
Below, we suggest a range of ways you can help raise funds for our work in an enjoyable way that also helps highlight our work. At the bottom of the page, we've included a donation form which makes it easy for you to send us any money you have raised.
Thank you for any fundraising you do for us. If you have any other fundraising ideas, do please let us know!
Coffee and cake sale
Could you organise a coffee and cake morning and ask for donations to the National Churches Trust?
You might choose to hold this after a church service for your congregation or at your local club, community group or hobby meeting.
Getting out and about
Could you do a sponsored walk, run or cycle?
Perhaps you could plan a route around local churches and ask friends to join you or sponsor you?
To set up a fundraising page you would simply need to set up a Just Giving account raising funds for us.
To do set one up, just follow this link: www.justgiving.com/nationalchurchestrust
Something just for fun
Do you have a hobby? Perhaps you play bridge or golf, sing in a choir, or take part in a weekly pub quiz.
Maybe you belong to an organisation such as a Rotary Club or Womens Institute?
You could ask for donations for the National Churches Trust at one of your regular events, or even put us forward for consideration if your club chooses an annual charity of the year. Recently some of our supporters have even organised concerts on our behalf.
Giving a short talk
Would you consider giving a short talk to raise awareness of what we do?
This might be about the history of your local church, or about our work saving churches more generally.
We have prepared a short talk that you could use, so you would not need to write your own from scratch.
If you are having a larger event and would like one of us to attend to give a talk, do let us know and we will try our very best to come along.
If you would like to talk to us, or need some help, then call us on 020 7222 0605 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please do let us know if you are planning an event, we will do everything we can to support you and will try to come along if possible. We can also send you some literature to display and share.
We have also made it easy for you to send in any donations you have raised for us with the form below
