St Swithun

St Swithun is 500 years old in 2023 and sits in the centre of an ancient Saxon hill top village with some intriguing and beautiful ancient bench ends carved at the end of the 16th century.
A grant to help fund work including structural repairs to the church tower, which was showing major cracks on the exterior stonework and evidence of internal instability, including decay of timbers supporting the floor to the bell chamber.
