This Grade I listed building has many 13th century exterior features and was built on the site of an earlier Saxon church with a Saxon coffin being found at the base of the tower.

Although many features were destroyed during the 16th and 17th centuries, careful restoration has meant some can still be enjoyed today. The beautiful, canopied image bracket holds reserved sacrament for use in the parish where people cannot get to church.

The church is equipped with a modern kitchen, toilet facilities, and a hearing loop. It is fully accessible to wheelchair users through the north door. The church is open every day.
