It is known as the 'Cathedral of Welsh Nonconformity' and has a largely unaltered interior and fittings.

The facade has eight huge Corinthian columns and arches and the interior is a masterclass in mahogany, with an impressive choir gallery and a distinctive three case organ.

The Tabernacle Morriston Choir was formed in 1876 and is one of the longest established mixed choirs still performing. The choir still rehearses and performs at Morriston Tabernacle.

The chapel and its associated spaces host culture groups, choir practices, activity days for the disadvantaged and regular Sunday services.
