From the outside it is unusually arranged, with its tower in the middle of the south aisle, over the porch.

The chancel is taller than the nave, has four huge windows on each side, and is the highlight of the building. These windows are full of 14th and 15th century glass. In the chancel are tombs and memorials of the Fitzherbert family, lords of the manor and builders of the church.
