St Mary's is a beautiful countryside church with a very special and peaceful ambience and an interesting history, dating back to two local monastic houses: Marton Abbey and Moxby Priory.

Marton Church is a lovely place to rest, relax, enjoy the quietness and reflect or pray. The church is beautifully looked after and well worth a visit. Our churchyard is managed to promote wildlife and celebrate the wild beauty of creation.
