St Mary's is a beautiful countryside church with a very special and peaceful ambience and an interesting history, dating back to two local monastic houses: Marton Abbey and Moxby Priory.

Marton Church is a lovely place to rest, relax, enjoy the quietness and reflect or pray. The church is beautifully looked after and well worth a visit. Our churchyard is managed to promote wildlife and celebrate the wild beauty of creation.

Marton in the Forest is on the road between Stillington and Farlington. Look for our sign in the layby outside: 'find peace & tranquility within'.
