St Andrew’s church is Grade II listed, which was built around 1200 and restored in 1876.
It is tiny, picturesque, and takes up one side of a building, and so is semi-detached, the other part being a private house.
There was an abbey here in the 12th century, but it has long been in ruins, and the little church is all that remains intact from the abbey buildings. It even has a fragment of 13th century wall painting inside to prove its credentials.
The interior is packed with a remarkable jumble of old furniture and fittings, some from the 17th century.
